Whom can I pay through Online Bill Payment?
With the exception of government agencies from local to federal, customers can pay anyone in the United States, including utilities, banks, neighbors, and a child in college.
How late in the day can I enter, edit, or delete a payment?
Bill payments are processed twice daily: 1:00 PM Eastern Time and 3:00 AM Eastern Time. Payments may be added, edited, or deleted until just before processing time.
What happens if a scheduled payment falls on a weekend or holiday?
Scheduled payments that fall on a weekend or holiday process the day before. New payments entered during a weekend or holiday and intended to be sent immediately process on the next business day.
Are there merchants that cannot be paid through bill payment?
Yes. Government agencies from local to federal cannot be paid through the service, and payees outside the United States are not supported.
Can I get a copy of a cancelled check?
If the check is available in online banking history, the image can be opened by clicking the check number and printed. A customer service representative can also assist with obtaining a check copy, though fees may apply.
How long is history retained in View Payment History?
Payment histories are kept for one year.
What happens if I lose or forget my ID or PIN?

Payee Information
What is a payee?
A payee is anyone to whom a customer would pay a bill or send a check. Common payees include utilities, landlords, mortgage companies, department stores, credit card companies, individuals, lawn service, newspaper delivery, or charitable organizations.
How many payees may I set up?
Customers may set up to 99 payees through the Internet.
How do I know if a merchant is electronic or check?
After a vendor or merchant is set up, the View Payees screen indicates whether that vendor is electronic or check.
When will the money be taken out of my account?
Electronic payments are withdrawn on the scheduled date at either 3:00 AM Eastern Time or 1:00 PM Eastern Time. Check payments are withdrawn when the physical check clears the account.
What if I do not have enough money in my account?
For electronic payments, the system waits until funds are available and checks at the listed processing times. For check payments, the system generates and sends the check, and the customer is responsible for available funds and any NSF fees.
Can I set up recurring payments?
Yes. Recurring payments can be set weekly, semi-monthly, or monthly. Inactivity for 120 days may cause online banking to become dormant and be deleted for protection.
Will the memo field pass on to the merchant?
No. The memo field is for personal records. The account number entered for the payee is printed on the check so the payee knows which account to apply the payment to.
Payment Information
How far in advance should I send a payment?
Check payments should be scheduled 10 business days before the due date. Electronic payments should be made 4 business days before the due date.
Are there minimum and maximum payment amounts?

What is the scheduled date?
The scheduled date is the day the customer wants ProBank Online Banking to start the process of sending money to the payee.
How far in advance can I schedule payments?
Payments may be scheduled well in advance of the first due date, including over a year. Recurring payments can have a future end date while the online banking account remains active.
Can I have multiple payments to the same payee on the same day?
Yes. Multiple payments to the same payee, even in the same amount, can be made. The system will process multiple payments, so customers should proceed carefully.
Can I stop payment?
If an electronic payment has processed, it cannot be stopped. If a check payment is involved, customers may place a stop payment through ProBank Online or contact customer service. Fees may apply.
What do payment status values mean?
Pending means the payment has been processed but not sent. Processed means it has been processed and sent. Hold usually means the payment has a research request or incomplete information. Stopped means the payment cannot be processed again.
